Our CEO's Team CTB Donate £50,000 to BCH New Entrance

Carter the Brave has invested 50,000 into the renovation project for the Entrance of Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Carter the Brave is delighted to contribute substantially to the new Front Entrance of Birmingham Children's Hospital. Last updated nearly three decades ago, the current main entrance is cramped, dull and unwelcoming and doesn’t reflect the world-class care that takes place beyond it. 54% of children are afraid of going to hospital so we are delighted to help BCH create a bright, spacious and child-friendly entrance which helps reduce fear and anxiety ahead of appointments. 

The CEO of DesignerGiving, Lucy Chatting, says 'this will have a huge impact on children arriving at hospital - it will feel less scary and overwhelming. Plans are also set to offer various activities for the children in the main entrance which will help families gather themselves before difficult appointments.'
